For the five -match T20 series against New Zealand, Afridi took two wickets in four matches at an average of 66.50, while Rauf took eight wickets in four matches at an average of 12.25. Naseem was not selected for the T20 series, in which Pakistan lost 4–1. Pakistan is now playing a three -match ODI series against New Zealand. Naseem and Rauf were included in the team, but Afridi has not found a place in the team. In the first ODI in Napier, in which Pakistan lost by 73 runs, Nasim and Rauf took one and two wickets respectively. The second ODI between Pakistan and New Zealand will be played in Hamilton on 2 April.
