Actors Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna will work together for the first time in the film Thaama. Ayushmann and Rashmika Mandanna shared an adorable video from the sets on Monday (December 30). He wished the fans a “Thama-Kedar Holiday and a wonderful 2025”. He wrote in the caption of the post, “Hope you are celebrating the wonderful holiday. See you in 2025 #Diwali.”

This post has come after the official announcement of this film. Sharing his happiness on joining the horror comedy universe, the actor had earlier said in a press note, “I am excited that Dinesh Vijan thinks it is right for me to enter his blockbuster horror comedy universe as ‘Thamaa’.” It’s the best time ever with Stree 2 becoming the biggest Bollywood film in the history of Hindi cinema. I am thrilled to be a part of the legacy of this universe as it continues to grow and give the audience such a great experience. I also feel responsible for providing an experience that they will remember for years to come.”

Munjya fame director Aditya Sarpotdar is directing this film while Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik are the producers of Thama. The film has been written by Niren Bhatt, Suresh Mathew and Arun Phulara. This film of Maddock Films will be released in theaters on Diwali 2025 and will also star Paresh Rawal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
