Filmmaker Ahmed Khan brought back the old memories on the 38th anniversary of the prestigious film ‘Mr. India’. He started his journey in the industry as a child artist in the film. Before gaining popularity as choreographer and director, Khan worked in this ‘Cult Classic’, which played an important role in shaping his early career. Considering the 38th anniversary of the film, Ahmed shared memories of the early days of his career and talked about the changes he has seen in the process of making the film.

Khan said, “It has been 38 years since Mr. India was released and whenever I think about it, my old memories get fresh. It really makes me feel as if it was yesterday. It was my debut and was my first conversation with this beautiful industry. I remember the days of shooting, they were really amazing. As I have always said, I am the only one who has seen that journey and I have seen that journey. Days, we loved it because the entire unit used to be together.

The famous choreographer said, “Mr. India is the only film that has always been fresh in the minds of the audience for so many years and they still feel that those children are the same children. We have not grown up and they still recognize me today. I am very grateful that I am very grateful and I got a chance to work with great artists like Sridevi, Amrish Puri and Satish Kaushik and I was also considered a child in that film that I was a child in that film. It is very good for more than 38 years.

“Mr. India”, directed by Shekhar Kapoor, completed 38 years of his release on 25 May. The film, produced jointly by Boney Kapoor, starred Anil Kapoor, Sridevi and Amrish Puri.
