Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat, who came to Kerala to take part in organizational activities, visited the Ameda Nagaraja temple in Tripunithura on Friday morning and offered prayers to the ‘Sapta Matri’ and ‘Naga’ deities. According to a release issued by the RSS, Bhagwat listened to the song ‘Pulluvan’ and offered prayers to the ‘Naag’ deities in the temple. According to the release, Bhagwat worshiped Sapta Matri i.e. seven goddesses Brahmani, Maheshwari, Kumari, Vaishnavi, Varahi, Indrani and Chamundi in the temple.
