Narendra Modi Joins Truth Social: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday joined social media platform Truth socially owned by US President Donald Trump. The Prime Minister wrote in his first post on the platform, “Truth was very happy to come on social! I am eager to interact with all the passionate people here and have meaningful conversations in the coming time.”
Donald Trump started Truth Social in 2022, when he was banned from major sites like Facebook and X after the attack on US Capital.
Earlier in the day, Donald Trump shared a video link of Prime Minister Modi’s conversation with popular podcaster and computer scientist Lex Fridman on Truth Social. During a three-hour conversation aired on Sunday, PM Modi said that the pair of him and the Trump are settled because both of them keep their respective countries first. PM Modi insisted that his mutual trust remained intact even when Biden was the President.
Told that story in podcast
Asked what he likes about the US President, PM Modi reminded that during his first term, Donald Trump ignored the security protocol and agreed to his request to revolve around the ‘Howdy Modi’ program in Houston. He said, “I was overwhelmed by his courage and his confidence.” He said that even after trying to murder him during the President’s campaign, President Trump showed a similar courage.
