A major cause of death of two -wheelers in road accidents in the country is head injury. Many times two -wheeler riders lose their lives due to not wearing helmets, and sometimes due to the poor quality of the helmet, the head injury occurs due to the accident. However, now the central government is bringing a scheme to give two helmets free with two -wheelers with vehicle manufacturers. Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari told this in a news channel program. He also gave information about ‘Rahavir Yojana’.
Nitin Gadkari said in the program, “We are deciding that the company that will buy two-wheelers will give him two helmets of the company of ISI with the vehicle, so that people wear helmets.”
1.80 lakh deaths in road accident
During this, he said that we are working on road safety, but have not got as much success.
He told that every year 10 thousand children die in the accident in front of schools. He told that there is a meeting with Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Wednesday.
Gadkari said that every year one lakh 80 thousand deaths in the country occur in road accident. He told that we are doing road safety audit and doing better black spots.
Information given about the road
During this time, the Union Minister said that the government is also bringing the path of the path, in which if someone takes the person to the hospital, then we will give him an award of 25 thousand rupees. Also, we will give seven days of expenses or one and a half lakh rupees to the person who is admitted and will try to save the life of that person.
He said that if the injured are immediately admitted to the hospital after the accident, then the lives of 50 thousand people can be saved.
