The US has done an air strike targeting the Islamic State (ISIS) bases in Somalia. The US Army carried out an air strike on Saturday following the order of US President Donald Trump. Trump has given information about this air strike himself on his social media platform ‘Truth’. The strong information of how much damage has been done to ISIS in this air strike or how many of its terrorists has died has not been revealed yet.
Donald Trump posted on the ‘Truth’ social media platform, “On Saturday morning I ordered an air strike at the locations of Senior ISIS attack planner and other terrorists in Somalia.”

“The US Army targeted ISIS operatives on the Golis hills of Puntland region of Somalia,” the US Defense Secretary (Defense Minister) Pit Hegseth told the news agency AFP. He said, “According to our initial estimate, many ISIS operatives have died in this air strike. However, no citizen has died during this period.”
The US Defense Minister said, “After this action, the operation of ISIS in Somalia will be affected. There will be less danger to our citizens, our partners and innocent Somalians.” Pete Hegseth said, “America is always standing in the fight for terrorism. Whoever tries to harm America and our colleagues, this will be the consequences.”
