
In Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh, the police have arrested two people including the sister of Excise Minister Nitin Agarwal and former Ghazipur MLA Subhash Pasi, accused of fraud and gangsterism. Dehat Kotwali police has arrested the former MLA and he will be produced in the court.
Actually, Prakash Chandra Gupta, resident of Railwayganj of the city Kotwali area, had filed the report on October 10, 2023. It was told that Subhash Pasi, originally a resident of Ghazipur, lives in Patelwadi plot number 658, Juhu Church, Balraj Sahni Road number 3, Mumbai city of Maharashtra. Prakash met Subhash Pasi and his wife Reena Pasi through neighbor Akshay Aggarwal. Subhash had told that he does property work. Saying that he had a flat in Aramnagar, Mumbai, he had offered to buy it for Rs 2.5 crore. On this Prakashchandra took him to Ruchigoyal in Vatganj.
Ruchi Goyal is the sister of State Government Excise Minister Nitin Agarwal. Here, in the presence of many people, Ruchi Goyal gave a check of Rs 49 lakh to Subhash and Reena. Reena deposited the check in her account and withdrew the money, but did not give the flat. When Prakash went to meet him in Mumbai, he made fake records and gave them. Apart from this, Railwayganj resident Akshay Aggarwal had also filed a case of embezzlement and forgery of Rs 49 lakh against Subhash and Reena Pasi on August 9, 2023. In both the cases, charge sheets were filed in the court. After this, the then city Kotwal Sanjay Pandey had registered a gangster case against the couple on 31 January 2024. Since then the police was searching for both of them.
Police has arrested former MLA Subhash Pasi. Subhash Pasi has been MLA twice from Saidpur assembly constituency of Ghazipur district. In the year 2012 and 2017, he was elected MLA from Saidpur seat on SP ticket. He had contested the 2022 elections from Saidpur on a BJP ticket. But were defeated.
Superintendent of Police Neeraj Jadaun said that a case of fraud was registered against Subhash Pasi and Reena Pasi, in which a non-bailable warrant was issued against them by the court. But he was not appearing in the court. The court had issued a warrant for his arrest. He was arrested from Mumbai and produced in the local court and demand was taken for two days. Subhash Pasi will be presented in the court.
