Terrorist Valiullah has been lodged in Dasna jail in Ghaziabad for 19 years.

The Allahabad High Court will hear two petitions of the terrorist Valiullah, convicted of the serial bomb blast case in Varanasi in 2006. Valiullah, who is in jail, has filed two petitions in the Allahabad High Court to cancel the death sentence from Ghaziabad court and release on bail. In the year 2022, Valiullah filed an appeal and criminal appeal in the capital case in the Allahabad High Court. There were serial bomb blasts on 7 March 2006 at Sankat Mochan Temple and Cantt railway station in Varanasi. In this serial bomb blast, 7 people died in Sankat Mochan Temple and 11 in Cantt railway station. While more than 50 people were injured in this blast. Even explosives were found at Dashashwamedh Ghat.
Varanasi lawyers refused to fight the case
Valiullah was accused of plotting the blast at Sankat Mochan Temple and Cantt railway station. On 5 April 2006, the police arrested Valiullah from Phulpur in Gangapar area of Allahabad from Lucknow. Police got AK-47 and RDX from Valiullah. Varanasi’s lawyers refused to fight the case of Valiullah. The Allahabad High Court transferred the hearing of the case to the Ghaziabad District Court.

The police described Valiullah as a terrorist of terrorist organization Huji. On 6 June 2022, the Ghaziabad court sentenced Valiullah, a convict of Varanasi serial blast. The Ghaziabad court sentenced Valiullah convicted in the Varanasi bomb case in the case of murder, spreading terror, using explosive material and attempt to murder.
The court held Valiullah guilty in the case of explosion in the Sankatmochan temple and the recovery of bombs at Dashashwamedh Ghat. Valiullah was acquitted due to lack of evidence in the bomb blast case at Cantt railway station. In 2022, in the Varanasi serial blast case, after 16 years, the Ghaziabad court sentenced Valiullah to trapped.
