Three batsmen of KKR failed in Tests
Before the match, when Sunil Naren and Angkrish Raghuvanshi were getting ready for batting, the reserve umpire Syed Khalid examined his bats outside the field. During this time, Naren’s bat did not fit the gauge and failed, while Raghuvanshi’s bat passed.
Later, when Andre Russell came to bat in the 11th over, umpire Saidhar Kumar examined his bat, which failed in the gauge test. Similarly, the bat of Enrique Nortze was also examined in the 15th over and that too did not meet the standards. Because of this the game stopped for a while. For Norteze, the substitute player Rahmanullah Gurbaz brought a legitimate bat, but Russell was out on the next ball and the entire team was reduced to 95 runs in 15.1 overs.
