Vladimir Putin will come to India, PM Modi invited: Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavarov said on Thursday that Russian President Vladimir Putin has accepted the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to visit India and preparations are being made for this. Addressing the conference on the subject of “Russia and India: a new bilateral agenda” by the Russian International Affairs Council, Lavrov said, “Preparations are currently being made for Putin’s visit to India.”

What did Russian Foreign Minister tell?
“President Vladimir Putin has accepted the invitation of Delhi’s head of Delhi,” the Russian Foreign Minister quoted the government news agency ‘TASS’ as saying. Preparations are being made for the Russian head of Republic of the Indian Republic of the Indian Republic at the moment. ”Lavarov said that Prime Minister Modi’s first foreign trip was from Russia after being re -elected last year. Lavrov said on 24 March that Russia is developing a ‘privileged strategic partnership’ with India.

Lavarov said at an event that Russia is now actively expanding relations with countries and independent countries like China, India, Iran, North Korea. The top Russian diplomat said, “The relation of widespread partnership and strategic cooperation with the People’s Republic of China has reached unprecedented levels of mutual trust.” Specially privileged strategic partnership with India is developing. ”

Putin said in his congratulatory message sent to President Draupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Modi on the occasion of India’s 76th Republic Day in January that Russia-India relations are based on ‘special and privileged strategic partnership’. Putin and Modi maintain regular contacts and on average, talk on telephone once every two months.
