New Delhi:
Following the attack on Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan at his home in Bandra, Mumbai, Maharashtra government minister Nitish Rane and Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Nirupam had raised questions about the genuineness of the actor’s injuries. On this, auto rickshaw driver Bhajan Singh Rana, who took the actor to the hospital, told news agency IANS that Saif was not acting on the night of the incident. Sanjay Nirupam had raised doubts about Saif’s condition by sharing a post on social media platform X. He wrote in the post, “Having a knife inserted in the back and the actor remaining so fit after some time of surgery, is it amazing?” Minister Nitish Rane had also expressed doubt about Saif’s injuries.
Auto rickshaw driver Bhajan Singh Rana said, “When I saw Saif Ali Khan for the first time, his kurta was soaked in blood and he was bleeding.” When Bhajan Singh was asked, is it possible to become so fit in five days in the condition in which you saw Saif? On this he said, “The doctors of Lilavati Hospital are good and excellent surgeons. He can answer this question better than me or anyone else. There should be no politics on this issue because he was not acting.”
Rana said that three people were traveling in the rickshaw on the night of the incident. There was a small child and another person with Saif. When I saw him, it did not seem as if Saif Ali Khan was acting. The wound was fresh. He was drenched in blood. Seeing them in that condition, I myself was scared and was thinking of leaving from here as soon as possible, I was nervous. Bhajan Singh said, “I work as a rickshaw puller. Social worker Faizan Ansari helped me with Rs 11,000. Saif Ali Khan helped me financially by giving Rs 51,000, but I do not go to ask from anyone. If anyone If he gives it, I take it.”
