BJP state president Chandrashekhar Bawankule said that the situation has been controlled. Some police officers have been injured in the incident. Nagpur is a peaceful city, which is famous for Deekshabhoomi and is known for its cultural significance.
On Nagpur violence, Congress MP Imran Masood said that if there is incidents like arson under the protection of the government, then it is clear that efforts are being made to air hatred. The Chief Minister should focus on violence in his own constituency.
Harshvardhan Sapkal, head of the Maharashtra unit of Congress, said that the violence in Nagpur on Monday reflects the failure of the state’s home department. Sapkal said that the ministers were deliberately giving inflammatory speeches for the last few days.

Shiv Sena spokesperson Anand Dubey also reacted to this violence. He said that it is the duty of the state government to maintain law and order. It is unfortunate that there have been incidents of stone pelting and arson in Nagpur after a quarrel between two groups. Many trains were set on fire, policemen were injured and fire engines were also stoned. These incidents can certainly affect the peace and social harmony of Nagpur. He alleged that the state government has failed to keep this situation under control.
Former Home Minister and Congress leader Anil Deshmukh also expressed his concern about this violence. He said that incidents like riots in Nagpur city have created an atmosphere of tension in the city. This is not the culture of Nagpur. Such incidents can affect peace and stability, so we should maintain restraint and try everyone to get out of this situation.
