How much Trump trusts Putin

President Macron met Trump in Washington after several rounds of meetings with European colleagues. He said, “I think it is very important to bring peace.” Macron spoke in English, which is not his first language.
Security guarantee required in peace agreement
He repeatedly emphasized that there should be security guarantee in any peace agreement, which should be checked and verified. He said, “I believe, try to achieve something that can be evaluated, investigated and verified and ensure that we can give adequate guarantee in a short term”. He further said, “Many of my European allies are ready to join it, but we need American support, as it is part of the credibility of security guarantee and it is also part of our collective preventive capacity.”
