Addressing the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) held in the US, Italian Prime Minister Georgia Meloni fiercely targeted the Leftists around the world. In his speech given through video link, he lashed out at the restlessness of the Left for the return of US President Donald Trump to power and praised the global solidarity of right -wing leaders. Referring to the right -wing leaders including PM Modi, the Italian PM said that when he speaks, he is said to be a threat to democracy.
This statement by Meloni once again outlined the increasing tension between right and leftist in global politics. His speech in CPAC is being discussed worldwide.
Donald Trump was described by the Italian Prime Minister as a strong leader and also defended the statement of US Vidya JD Vance in which he said that the biggest threat to Europe is ‘from inside’. Attacking the Left, Meloni said that when these nationalist leaders talk about national interests and border security, the Left starts to call them a threat to democracy.

Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) is a major annual conference to be held in the US, promoting Conservative ideology and providing a platform to supporters of this ideology. The program is organized by the American Conservative Union (ACU). This conference was first held in 1974.
