New Delhi:
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge had requested the Central Government to conduct the last rites of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at a place where his memorial could be built, but this was not done. Congress is now accusing BJP of insulting Manmohan Singh regarding this. But Congress perhaps forgot that after the death of former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao, space was not given for his memorial for 10 years. At that time there was UPA government in the country. A place for Narasimha Rao’s memorial was found in Delhi when the Modi government came to power.
