Arvind Srinivas is a CEO of Indian origin of Perplexity AI and is often coming to Kontroofers. Meanwhile, he is once again in the discussion due to his challenge given to Tesla Company owner Alan Musk. In fact, Srinivas has challenged Musk to stop them from raising huge amount from the federal agency.
Let me tell you that Srinivas challenged Musk when Alan Musk called for the closure of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) abroad. Srinivas tagged the head of Donald Trump’s DOGE department and wrote in a post on X, “I am considering raising $ 5 billion from USAID. Funding is safe. Stop me if you can stop.”
Explain that on Friday, a federal judge has ordered a temporary ban on the administration’s plan to send 2,200 USAID employees to the paid leave.
Who is Arvind Srinivas
Arvind Srinivas is the co-founder and CEO of Perplexity AI, an AI-Integrated Search Engine, which has the support of key investors including Jeff Bezos. Srinivas started the Perplexity AI established in 2022 with Andy Convinski, Dennis Yrats, and Johnny Ho. Arvind Srinivas is an alumni of IIT-Madras, who has done his PhD from the University of California.
Srinivas started his career as an intern at OpenAI. After this, he has done separate jobs while playing important responsibilities in big tech companies like Google and Deepmind. He went back to OpenAI as a research cycle before starting Perplexity.
