Israel Hamas Deal: Qatar’s Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani played an important role in the Israel-Hamas agreement.

Israel Hamas Deal: Today is a very special day amid the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas for the last one and a half years. It is being said that the role of Qatar’s PM Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani is being considered most important for this agreement between Israel and Hamas. He has also given a statement regarding this agreement. In this statement he has said that if everything goes well and this agreement is approved then it will come into effect from coming Sunday. Qatar’s PM has announced an end to the 15-month-long war, saying that the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas will come into effect from Sunday. Israel and Hamas themselves have also confirmed this.

Qatar played an important role in the agreement

It is being said that Qatar has played a big role in this deal between Israel and Hamas. This is because Qatar’s PM had tried the hardest to bring Israel and Hamas to an agreement. It is being said that Israel was also confident that only Qatar would be able to get this deal done. The architect of this agreement is Qatar’s Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani. This is the same person who forced both the countries to sit on his soil and talk. Whose words even Benjamin Netanyahu himself could not avoid. In fact, both Israel and Hamas had confidence in Qatar. Qatar is a country which has contacts with Israel, America and Hamas. Qatar also has good trade relations with all three countries. However, many countries including India played a role in stopping the Israel-Hamas war. Despite all this, Qatar’s role remains top. According to AFP information, the last talks between Israel and Hamas regarding the ceasefire deal were held in Qatar on January 14. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Al Thani had hosted this conversation.

On announcing the ceasefire, Qatar’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the State of Qatar, the Arab Republic of Egypt and the United States have announced that the parties to the conflict in Gaza have agreed to release hostages and return to lasting peace in exchange for hostages and prisoners. An agreement has been reached, which will ultimately lead to a permanent ceasefire between the parties. Talking about releasing the hostages, in the first phase of the deal, Hamas can release 33 hostages, including 5 women. Whereas Israel will release 250 Palestinian prisoners in return. After 15 days, Hamas will release the remaining hostages. According to CNN report, as soon as the ceasefire is announced, a buffer zone will be created between Gaza and Israel. Israel is demanding a buffer zone of up to 2 kilometers from the border, while Hamas wants a buffer zone of 300 to 500 meters as before October 2023. The final decision regarding the buffer zone is yet to be taken.

Agreement has been reached with these conditions

Nothing has been officially said yet regarding the conditions on which the war between Israel and Hamas has been agreed upon to stop, but if sources are to be believed, some important conditions have been laid down to reach this agreement between the two countries. Have gone. This war is going to stop only after fulfilling these conditions. Under these conditions, Israel has asked Hamas to release all its hostages. In return, Hamas has demanded from Israel that it releases the Palestinian prisoners held in its custody. According to sources, this agreement between the two to stop the war is only for the first few weeks. During this time, Israel will also withdraw its army from Gaza. Under the first phase of the agreement, Hamas will release 33 Israeli hostages. These will especially include women, children and the elderly. In the second phase, Israel will withdraw its forces from Gaza. During this period, it will completely stop its military action in Gaza. In the third phase, the work of returning the remaining dead bodies will be done. After this, reconstruction work will be started in Gaza under the supervision of Egypt, Qatar and the United Nations.
