Da Hike in Up: Yogi Government of Uttar Pradesh has given another opportunity to the state government employees to be happy. The state government has increased the DA Increase by two percent in the dearness allowance of government employees. There is a wave of happiness among the employees after the government has issued an order to increase the dearness allowance and increase the salary. This increase in dearness allowance by the Uttar Pradesh government led by CM Yogi Adityanath will be effective from January 1, 2025.

Dearness allowance will reach 55 percent

After two percent increase in dearness allowance, dearness allowance will increase to 55 percent, which is currently about 53 percent. The last time the Yogi government had increased the DA of state employees on the occasion of Diwali and 3 percent DA was increased, the benefits of which the employees got from July 1, 2024.

The Center had extended DA a few days ago

The Central Government had increased dearness allowance for its employees a few times before. Since then, the state government was expected to increase dearness allowance.

Millions of employees-pensioners will benefit

This decision of the government will benefit about 16 lakh employees of the state. Also, there are about 12 lakh pensioners in the state, which will also benefit from this decision of the government.
