Yuvraj Singh Team India Captain in WCL 2025: Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh has confirmed that he will captain the India Champions team in the second edition of the World Championship of Legends (WCL) to be held in the United Kingdom in July this year. Yuvraj led the team to win the title by leading India in the first edition. This time, veteran opener Shikhar Dhawan will also join the team, who will make his debut in this tournament after retiring from international cricket. Regarding his return to the tournament to be held with the support of England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), Yuvraj Singh said, “I am excited to represent India once again. The first edition victory and the great moments spent with their companions will always be close to my heart.”

Sumant Bahl, the co-owner of the India Champions team, said, “Winning the trophy by defeating Pakistan last year was like a dream to come true for us. We will take the field with full preparation this time and are eager to protect the title.” In this tournament to be held in Edgbaston, India’s team will have to face veteran players from Australia, West Indies, England, Pakistan and South Africa.
