It has been 10 years since actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s film Badlapur was released. On this occasion, the actor told about his role about how he prepared himself for a role. Nawazuddin, who has worked in other films including Gangs of Wasseypur, ‘The Lunchbox’, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, is known for his best performance. He played the role of ‘Liak’ in ‘Badlapur’, which was well appreciated by the audience.
Nawazuddin said that his character in the film changes from an ordinary criminal to a strict person. He does not express his feelings openly, so it was not easy for him to play this role. He along with director Shriram Raghavan worked to add depth to this character. Sriram Raghavan used to remind him again and again that his character had become a killer only by misbehavior, yet it was necessary to show a change in it.
Nawazuddin’s performance in this film was fantastic and he introduced his character in a very different style. Laik was a character who was clever, but a strange kind of innocence was also reflected in his antics. He made many improvements in his dialogue in the film, making his character even more impressive. Due to this creative freedom, many memorable scenes of the film came out, which the audience still likes.
Nawazuddin is now ready for his upcoming film I am not an actor. Recently the trailer of this film was released, which was well liked by the audience. The film is ready for the world premiere at the Cynecuest Film Festival in California in March 2025. Apart from this, Nawazuddin has many other films, which have not been officially announced yet.
