6 people killed in helicopter crash in New York


Six people, including three children, were killed when a helicopter crashed in Hudson River in New York on Thursday. CNN quoted the Mayor of New York City as saying that the dead include a pilot and a family from Spain.

According to CNN, the weather conditions were cloudy at the time of the incident, the wind speed was reaching around 10 to 15 mph and the wind speed was reaching 25 mph. Visibility was good. But light rain was expected in the area. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) confirmed the incident and said it is working with the National Transport Safety Board (NTSB), which is leading the investigation.
