Adani Total Gas’ operating income grew 12% in the third quarter

Adani Total Gas Limited (ATGL) on Monday presented its third quarter FY25 results. The company’s income from operations increased by 12 percent to Rs 1,397 crore in the October-December period. ATGL said in the statement that in the current financial year, the Ebitda of the company for 9 months has been Rs 893 crore, which is 6 percent more on annual basis.

Suresh P Mangalani, ED and CEO, ATGL, said, “ATGL has maintained its growth momentum with a focus on customer-centric approach with a 15 per cent year-on-year growth in volumes in the third quarter. “Had strong operational performance.”

  • He further said, “Despite the shortfall in APM gas allocation, ATGL has ensured uninterrupted supply of CNG to our large group of consumers by supplying additional gas through alternative modes.”
  • The allocation of APM gas for CNG (T) segment to ATGL was reduced from 63 per cent to 51 per cent with effect from October 16, 2024 and then from 51 per cent to 37 per cent with effect from November 16.
  • Manglani further said that the company is rapidly creating PNG and CNG infrastructure in 34 Geographical Areas (GA). Jalandhar GA of Punjab has recently been added to this.

In the third quarter, the company increased the number of CNG stations to 605 by adding 28 new stations and the number of PNG domestic connections increased to 9.22 lakh with 28,677 new domestic connections. Apart from this, the number of industrial and commercial connections of the company has increased by 167 to 8,913.

The CNG station network of IndianOil-Adani Gas Private Limited (IOAGPL) has increased to 999 stations. 41 new stations have been added to the CNG network in this quarter. At the same time, the number of domestic connections in PNG has crossed 10 lakh to 10.9 lakh. About 40 lakh people are getting its benefit. IOAGPL is a joint venture between Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) and Adani Total Gas Limited.

ATGL has formed two wholly owned subsidiaries – Adani TotalEnergies E-Mobility Limited (ATEL) and Adani TotalEnergies Biomass Limited (ATBL) for its e-mobility and biomass businesses respectively.
