Actor Sonu Sood has broken his silence on the recent reports that claimed to have issued an arrest warrant in the fraud case against him. The actor came on social media and clarified this situation and described this news as “sensational”. He said that this matter is being exaggerated. Sonu tweeted, “We need to make it clear that the news going on social media platforms is very sensational. Simply put, the court called us as a witness in a third party related case, which has no relation.
The actor said, “Our lawyers have responded. On 10 February 2025, we will give a statement, in which we will clarify that we are not involved in this case. We are neither brand ambassadors nor are we connected in any other way. All this is being done only to draw the attention of the media. It is sad that celebrities are made soft targets. We will take strict action in this matter. ”
It was reported that a court in Ludhiana has issued an arrest warrant against Sonu Sood in the alleged fraud case. This warrant was released by Ludhiana Judicial Magistrate Ramanpreet Kaur. The 51 -year -old actor was called to testify in the case, but could not attend the court proceedings. Subsequently, the magistrate issued an arrest warrant. The court order reads, “Sonu Sood was sent summons or warrant, but he failed to appear in the court. You are ordered to arrest Sonu Sood and produce in court.”
