A major incident has taken place in Bangladesh struggling with political instability. The attack on the Air Force Station in Bangladesh is reported. Bangladesh’s Inter-Services Public Relations i.e. ISPR has given this information in a notification. 6 people are reported injured in the incident. According to the information, suddenly some miscreants attacked the Air Force base near the committee mercury in Cox Bazaar.
According to preliminary reports, the attack occurred when tension increased between the local people and the Air Force personnel about something. Some local journalists say that the District Commissioner had asked the people of Samiti Para to leave the air force area and go to the Housing Housing Project, after which the dispute started. The attackers attacked the base. In response, the Air Force opened fire, causing more stress to increase the area by the security forces at the scene and stopped the movement.

Cox Bazar Air Force Base is located in the southeastern part of Bangladesh. It is a major base of Bangladesh Air Force, built in the city of Cox Bazaar. The base is located near the Cox Bazar Airport, which is one of the most famous tourist destinations in the country and is situated on the banks of the Bay of Bengal.

Since the fall of the government led by former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in August 2024, the law and order of the country has been going through a critical phase and the silver of violent incidents continues. On Sunday, the students in the capital took out a protest march in recent times, angry with the failure of the interim government in preventing the increasing incidents of sexual violence against women and children.
Protests were held at many major educational institutions in Dhaka like Jagannath University, Eden College, Government Titumir College, University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) and BRAC University. The students shouted slogans, ‘Wake up the government!,’ Finish the silence, punish the rapists! ‘,’ Stop violence, protect women! ‘ And ‘hang the rapists!’.
