A Mumbai court has again issued a bailable warrant against actress Malaika Arora for not appearing as a witness in the 2012 case of alleged assault by a actor Saif Ali Khan from a migrant Indian businessman. Malaika was among the people who went to the dinner at the five -star hotel with Khan on 22 February 2012 where the alleged incident occurred. Chief Judicial Magistrate (Asplayed Court) K.K. S. The court first issued a bailable warrant against Malaika Arora on 15 February but did not appear in the court after which the warrant was released again on Monday. Further hearing in the case will be held on 29 April. Saif Ali Khan and two other accused were arrested after a complaint lodged by Pravasi Indian businessman Iqbal Mir Sharma. The three were later released on bail.

When this quarrel took place, Saif Ali Khan was present with his wife Kareena Kapoor, Kareena’s sister Karishma Kapoor, Malaika Arora and Malaika’s sister Amrita Arora, some friends of the actor were present in the hotel. According to the police, when Sharma refused to make a noise with the actor and his friends, Saif allegedly threatened him and later punched Sharma’s nose, which broke his nose. The overseas Indian businessman also accused Saif and his friends of beating their father -in -law Raman Patel.

On the other hand, Saif alleged that Sharma spoke inflammatory and used abusive language against the women who came with him, which caused an uproar. Saif and his two friends Shakeel Ladak and Bilal Amrohi have been filed under Section 325 (attack) of the Indian Penal Code.
