
Bailable warrant issued against Malaika Arora

A Mumbai court has again issued a bailable warrant against actress Malaika Arora for not appearing as a witness in the 2012 case of alleged assault by a actor Saif Ali Khan from a migrant Indian businessman. The court first issued a bailable warrant against Malaika Arora on 15 February but did not appear in the court after which the warrant was released again on Monday. Further hearing in the case will be held on 29 April. Saif Ali Khan and two other accused were arrested after a complaint lodged by Pravasi Indian businessman Iqbal Mir Sharma. The three were later released on bail.
When this quarrel took place, Saif Ali Khan was present with his wife Kareena Kapoor, Kareena’s sister Karishma Kapoor, Malaika Arora and Malaika’s sister Amrita Arora, some friends of the actor were present in the hotel.
