The review expresses challenges to the country with an assessment of the performance of the economy in the current financial year. Economic Review is an annual document that the government presents to review the situation of the economy before the Union Budget. It also provides a blueprint for reforms and development. This time, growth from 6.3 to 6.8 has been estimated in the Economic Survey.

This will be the second budget of the third term of the Modi government. This time the budget session will be in two parts. The first part will run from 13 February, and the second part will run from 10 March to 4 April.
