Sambhal Jama Masjid: Zafar Ali, chairman of the managing committee of Sambhal’s royal Jama Masjid in Uttar Pradesh, was arrested on Sunday in the violence case on November 24 last year. Zafar Ali’s elder brother Tahir Ali has alleged that his brother was to appear before the Commission for the investigation of the Sambhal violence case on Monday, hence a conspiracy was hatched to arrest him and send him to jail. Sambhal Superintendent of Police (SP) Krishna Kumar Bishnoi said that Zafar Ali has been arrested in the violence case on November 24 last year.
Will apply for bail today
On Sunday, when the police arrested Zafar Ali and was taking him to a hospital in Chandausi for medical examination, he told reporters, “I did not provoke any riot. I have been falsely implicated. ”Meanwhile, on Sunday, a Chandausi court rejected Zafar Ali’s bail and was sent to Moradabad Jail on two days remand. Ali’s lawyer said that he would apply for bail in the district judge’s court on Monday. Ali’s lawyer Aamir Hussain said, “Zafar Ali’s bail was debated in the court of Civil Judge Aditya Singh. The court dismissed bail and was sent to jail on two days remand. Zafar Ali has been sent to Moradabad Jail. On Monday, we will apply for bail in the court of District Judge Sambhal. ‘
What is the case
Earlier, Anuj Kumar Tomar, in -charge of Sambhal Kotwali, had said that Ali was detained by the Special Investigation Team of Police (SIT) to record the statement in the violence case during the Jama Masjid survey on 24 November last year. He had told that Ali has been detained by the SIT and he is being questioned. Last year, four people were killed in the violence during the survey of Jama Masjid and at least 19 others, including several policemen, were injured. After the incident, Ali alleged in a press conference that police officer Anuj Chaudhary and Deputy District Magistrate Vandana Mishra are responsible for the violence and four people were killed by the police bullet.

Zafar Ali’s elder brother Tahir Ali told reporters that at 11:15 pm the police inspector and investigating officer had reached his house and said that the police officer Kuldeep Singh wants to talk to Zafar Ali. He alleged that Zafar Ali had to make a statement before the Commission formed to investigate the violence on Monday, hence the police had conspired to deliberately arrest him and send him to jail. He said that Zafar Ali Sambhal is standing on his statement given in the press conference after the violence and will continue even further. Regarding the allegations of getting funds from abroad for Sambhal violence, Tahir Ali said, “Five new money has not been funded. We will fight in the court and come out victorious. ”He made serious allegations against the administration and said,“ The administration of Sambhal is provoking the public. He does not want to end stress. We want to end stress. All the police officers and high officials here are creating tension. ”
