Holi and rhetoric again on Jumme, now the mayor of Darbhanga said- Holi should be stopped for two hours

Darbhanga:
Mayor Anjum Ara of Darbhanga, Bihar, has said in a statement that Holi programs should be stopped from twelve o’clock to 2 pm for prayers during Holi. He said that the time of prayers of Jumme cannot be extended forward, so a break of two hours should be taken on Holi.

The mayor of Darbhanga has urged that the people playing Holi should keep distance from mosques and places of Namaz for two hours. He said that Holi and Ramadan have fallen together many times before and have been peacefully concluded in the district.

Darbhanga district administration held a meeting of the peace committee before the prayers of Holi and Jumme, which also included Mayor Anjum Ara. After the meeting, the mayor while talking to the media said that the prayers of Holi and Jumme have fallen on the same day, so they urged the Hindu community to stop Holi from 12.30 to 2 pm.

BJP spokesperson Kuntal Krishna has reacted to the statement of Mayor and other Muslim leaders of Darbhanga. He said that why is the responsibility of fulfilling Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb always put on Hindus? This time it is the day of Holi Jumme, so Muslims should also take responsibility for fulfilling this Tehzeeb and respect the spirit of Hindus.

What did BJP MLA say?
Earlier, Bihar BJP MLA Haribhushan Thakur (Bachaul) said that on the day of Holi, Muslims should avoid getting out of the house, celebrate your celebration at home. If the Muslim brothers leave, then the hearts grow up, they will not mind it. There is an appeal to him that Muslims did not leave one day.
