Indian student arrested in America, government canceled visa


New Delhi:
An Indian student studying at the University of Georgetown in America has been arrested. The name of the arrested Indian student is Badar Khan Suri. He was a post -doctoral fellow there. They will be deported from America. According to Khan’s lawyer, Khan was arrested from his residence in Virginia on Monday night. According to a report in Politico, some masked people came to arrest him. According to the arrest papers, the dysfunctional agents described themselves as an employee of the Homeland Security Department. He told Khan that the government has canceled his visa.

Suri’s lawyer Hasan Ahmed has argued in a petition filed for Khan’s release that Suri’s wife is a American citizen of Palestinian origin, which is why he has been arrested. The government suspects that he and his wife are opposed to the US foreign policy against Israel.
