IPL 2025: Captain Ryan Parag’s timber did not run, ‘Khela’ played for the first time in career with Shimran Hetmyer

Rajasthan Royals scored 151 runs at the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs, losing the toss in the match against Kolkata Knight Riders at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. However, Sanju was dismissed for just 13 runs. After that Jaiswal and Ryan Parag handled the team’s innings. But once the spinner came, Rajasthan lost wickets at regular intervals. In such a situation, Rajasthan took some shocking decisions, which included the decision to send Hetmyer to number-8 to bat.

This happened for the first time in Hetmyer’s career

Rajasthan’s maneuver did not run

On the other hand, the Royals batsmen were seen to score runs in a hurry, due to which he went on losing his wickets. Rajasthan lost its third wicket on a score of 69.

Rajasthan team management sent Hasranga to bat on number-5, so that he could attack against the spin bowlers. This maneuver of Rajasthan did not work and Hasranga was dismissed for 4 runs. Apart from this, he gave a chance to Shubham Dubey as an impact player in place of Samson, but he was dismissed for 9 runs.
