J&K: Amit Shah encouraged BSF soldiers, told how to eliminate the enemy now



Jammu and Kashmir:
Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday (Amit Shah Jammu-Kashmir Visit). During this, he visited the BSF’s advance post on the India-Pakistan border in Kathua. Shah also interacted with the Border Security Force personnel posted there with BSF Jawan Vinay Prasad, who martyred the international border in Kathua district in 2019, in 2019.

Amit Shah also inaugurated 8 newly constructed women barracks, high mast lights, G +1 tower and composite BOP on the border, which have been built at a cost of Rs 47.22 crore. These initiatives have strengthened the security system of BSF jawans during duty and their living facilities have also improved.

The Home Minister appreciated BSF jawans and officials for efforts being made to monitor the international border of Jammu region. In a conversation with the soldiers, he said that by coming here, it is known that BSF soldiers protect the boundaries of the country under difficult circumstances. In spite of harsh cold, torrential rain and 45 degree temperature, geographical or weather inequality, our soldiers are engaged in the protection of boundaries with readiness and vigilance.

Amit Shah said that the history of BSF has been glorious in the security of the country. The whole country knows that BSF is the first line of our security. He has always discharged this responsibility very well. BSF soldiers have contributed as much as the Indian Army in every war with Pakistan.

The Home Minister said that two models of electronic surveillance systems have been made for deployment on the border. After their deployment on the entire border, the soldiers will be very easy to get information and in the event of any action by the enemy. Along with this, many experiments have also been done to identify infiltration and destroy the tunnels through technology and destroy them.

In a few years, the entire Indo-Pak and Indo-Bangladesh border will be equipped with technical assistance. The renunciation, valor, sacrifice and courage of our soldiers always protect the country from the border enemy. For this reason, there is a sense of respect for BSF in the hearts of the people of the country. Amit Shah said that more than 26 initiatives related to technology are still being tested. Which includes aspects such as drone technique, tunnel identity technology and electronic surveillance. Shah expressed confidence that in all these tests, some results can be reached by next March, which will make the way of the soldiers easier.

Many welfare schemes for security forces

The Home Minister said that the Modi government is constantly trying to reduce the problems coming among the duty of the soldiers. Under the leadership of PM Modi, the central government is fully dedicated to the welfare of security forces and their families. The Government of India has run several welfare schemes for the security forces, including Ayushman CAPF, Ex-Gratia Payments, CAPF Pay Package Scheme under Casual Death Insurance Coverage, Unified Pension Scheme, Pradhan Mantri Scholarship Scheme (PMSS) and E-Law.

Shah met the families of the martyrs, handed over appointment letters

Home Minister Amit Shah also met 10 policemen who lost their lives in various terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir and also handed over appointment letters to their families. Shah also met the widow of Deputy Superintendent of Police Humayun Muzammil Bhat and his 20 -month -old son in Shah Srinagar. In 2023, Humayun gave up his life while fighting the terrorists. He was posthumously awarded the country’s second highest peaceful valor award. Humayun Muzammil Bhat was among the four security personnel who were martyred in September 2023 while fighting terrorists in dense forests around Gadul village in Kokarnag in Anantnag district of South Kashmir.
