Neeraj Pandey’s web series ‘Khaki: The Bengal Chapter’ is ready for premiere on online streaming platform Netflix on 20 March. The film consists of names like Jeet, Prosejit Chatterjee, Shashwat Chatterjee and Parambrata Chatterjee. Actor Jeet said, “People have been asking for years, ‘When are the boss and Bamba da coming together?’ Well, we have come! The thing that makes it more special is that it is proud to be a part of such a project that presents such an authentic story for the global audience.

He told how beneficial it was to work with talented artists and crew. He said, “The film has amazing action scenes in the film, which I enjoyed doing. This project challenged me in new ways, which gave me a chance to learn a lot as an actor and I want everyone to experience this adventure, entertainment. I am very excited about it. Hopefully this series will be able to leave a permanent impression.”

The series ‘Khaki: The Bengal Chapter’ series has been set in a city where crime is dominated. Along with the hungry politicians of power, gangsters also dominate. In order to end the crime spreading in the city, IPS Arjun Maitra has an entry and he takes tough decisions to provide justice to the people. The situation in the city becomes such that loyalty and friendship seems to end there and they turn into secret enemies.

Expressing enthusiasm, Prosenjit told how he felt in working with the whole cast. He said, “I am happy that I have associated with a producer and Netflix like Neeraj Pandey to a project that seats the pulse of the audience. ‘Khaki: The Bengal Chapter’ is based on power struggle, action and many unexpected turns, which keep the audience tied. ‘

He added, “We have put our heart to shape this story and I hope that the audience would like it as much as we worked hard during its construction.” The series has been built by Friday Storytelllers and directed by Debatma Mandal and Tushar Kanti Re. It has done Shashwat Chatterjee, Ritvik Bhowmik, Adil Zafar Khan, Chitrangada Singh, Pooja Chopra, Aakkari and Pooja Chopra. Shraddha Das is also in important roles.
