Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inspect the world’s most advanced fusion energy nuclear reactor in Cadrache, Southern France on Wednesday. Let us tell you that this is the same place where the best scientists of the world are trying to make “mini sun” on earth. The project called ITER (International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor) or “The Way” wants to provide an unlimited supply of clean energy to the world and costs more than 22 billion euros. It is an unprecedented cooperation of seven countries – America, Russia, South Korea, Japan, China, India and European Union (EU), all of which aim to make “Aditya on Earth”.
The special thing is that Made in India is written everywhere in this project, and its purpose is to use “Friends on Earth”. Out of the Rs 17,500 crore spent on this project, India will support about 10 percent while it will be able to access 100 percent of this technology. This is the most expensive mega-sensation effort in which India is becoming its partner globally. Iter is the most expensive science project launched in the 21st century on Earth.
India has also contributed the largest component to this project – the world’s largest refrigerator, which is a unique reactor, is built by Larsen and Toubro in Gujarat. Its weight is more than 3,800 tonnes and its height is about half of the Qutub Minar. The total weight of the iter reactor will be around 28,000 tonnes. The Sun is a reserves of natural energy and if solar energy is closed then life on earth will be impossible. A joke is quite popular among scientists. Under this, scientists say that when this fusion energy will be used and the answer is after two decades and this is being said since 1980.
It is being said that scientists trying to establish their reign on nuclear fusion are making this sun so powerful that one gram atomic fuel can make 8 tons of energy equal to 8 tons of oil. Although nuclear fusion is the process that occurs naturally in our real sun and other stars, but now it is being tried artificially on earth.
Let me tell you that this process is not so easy. However, scientists are trying to make this impossible looking process possible. It is expected that through this nuclear fusion, without greenhouse gas and without radio active waste, there will be unlimited energy in contrast to the fuel fuel.
