Rather, while living in New York, Tilottama Shom spent days in Ricors Island Jail. That is because she was studying psychology of people in jail. During this time, she also met many such prisoners who were accused of murder. Tilottama Shom believes that by staying in this jail, he also got a lesson of acting. He has not done any course from any acting institute. He said in an interview that by staying in jail, he got a chance to see crime and criminal closely.
