Neelam Tanaji Shinde of Satara district of Maharashtra fell victim to a road accident in America. Neelam is seriously injured in this accident. Neelam is currently fighting a war with death in a hospital in California. According to the information so far, Neelam Shinde is in a coma. To reach his daughter, his family is asking for an active visa from the Center. Doctors in the hospital also need their family to perform Neelam’s operation.
How Neelam’s accident happened in America
According to Neelam’s father Tanaji Shinde, her daughter went to America for Higher Education and is a fourth year student at California State University. According to Neelam Shinde’s family, on 14 February, her daughter set out on an evening walk, when she had an accident. The family said that this was a case of hit-and-run, the car hit him from behind, causing serious injuries in both his hands, legs, heads and chest.

After the accident, 35 -year -old Neelam was admitted to the C Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, California, where she is undergoing treatment at the ICU. Neelam’s family said, “She has gone into a coma due to injury to the chest,” the family came to know about the accident from Neelam Shinde’s roommate two days later. In view of his condition, the hospital allegedly sent an e-mail to the family, in which he was asked to come to America as soon as possible.
Why the family has not received a visa yet
Neelam’s family said that the hospital needed permission to operate her, she said that Neelam was fighting the war with death and the hospital administration could not take any risk until a close relative was present there. Neelam’s father Tanaji Madhav Shinde said, “We came to know about the accident on 16 February and we have been trying for a visa since then, but we have not received a visa yet.” Neelam Shinde’s mother died a year ago due to a brain tumor. Talking to NewsDeskReport, his uncle Sanjay Kadam said that Shinde’s condition had improved on Thursday. He said, “Brain pressure has reduced since yesterday and now it is normal, its blood pressure has also increased and normal, but it is still in a coma.”
Police action so far
According to the information, the driver of the car colliding Shinde has been taken into police custody. However, the law enforcement officers are also facing legal difficulties in registering a case in a case without the presence of any blood related to the victim.
