Raj Kapoor is not only known as filmmaker and actor but also as a legend party host. For many years, the Kapoor family used to host the big grand party RK Stujies, in which Bollywood’s renowned celebs were seen attending. However, Holi’s iconic parties used to scare Holi’s grandson Ranbir Kapoor. Prior to Raj Kapoor’s 100th birthday party, Ranbir Kapoor mentioned Dada’s RK Studios’ party while talking to filmmaker Rahul Rawail at the 55th International Film Festival of India.
Ranbir Kapoor said, I was very young, so it was a very scary atmosphere for me. All were dyed in black and other colors. Everyone is being thrown into such a truck. I think your memories will be better … You were right, all were black blue yellow. It used to be a day celebration. ”
In childhood, despite sometimes dislike towards these parties, Ranbir admitted how these ceremonies were rare moments of unity. The animal actor said, “I have heard that not only the actor and actresses, but every person in the film industry was involved in it. The camera, the people working in production, all the people celebrated together. Gradually, these parties were closed because there was a lot of crowd. It was unbearable because any person came inside.”
