Actor Arjan Singh Aujla, who played the role of Shah Rukh Khan’s on-screen son Sameer in the film My Name is Khan, has now grown up and is looking for a big opportunity again. Working with Shah Rukh Khan is one of the best experience of his life. Recently, he shared his first meeting with Shahrukh and spending time with him on the set. Arjan said, “He was very kind. He was smoking and asked me if I feel unconfirmed.”
In an interview given to Bollywood Hungama, Acar, which was only 10 years old during the shooting of the film, told how he had a first meeting with Shahrukh a few days before the shooting started. The two first met for a photoshoot at Mehboob Studio. Arjan said, “I remember well that there was a crowd among the people before Shah Rukh Khan came to the studio. As soon as he entered the studio, all the people stood quiet. He stopped running around.”
He recalled and shared a great memory when both had to play basketball and shoot scenes. It took 45 minutes to set the shot, but Shah Rukh Khan was trying to keep in mind that Arjan should be comfortable.
Arjan said that Shah Rukh used to call him for rehearsals, narrate jokes and asked him if he wanted coffee. He further said, “He always took care that I was comfortable.” He further said that Shah Rukh made her comfortable comfortable by narrating jokes with her mother and father.
Arjan also thanked Shah Rukh’s good behavior during the shooting of My Name Is Khan. On Shah Rukh’s birthday in 2022, Arjan made an emotional post on Instagram in which he remembered how the superstar made him feel like a friend and a man he could talk. Under the direction of Karan Johar, the film had great success from the point of view of reviewers and commercially. The film grossed over 223 crores worldwide.
