Some youth climbed the gate of the dargah with saffron flag in Prayagraj, shouted slogans


Prayagraj:
On Sunday, some youths allegedly climbed with saffron flags at a gate of a dargah located in Sikandra under Bahria police station in Ganga Nagar and started shouting slogans. This incident took place in many areas of Prayagraj amidst taking out the procession of Ram Navami. Officials said that the police immediately reached the spot and removed those youths from the dargah of Ghazi Mian.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Ganga Nagar) Kuldeep Singh Gunwat said that there are five mausoleums in this dargah and Hindu and Muslim devotees come here to offer chadar. He said that on Sunday, some youths shouted slogans waving religious flag at the dargah and these youths were immediately stopped by the police stationed on the spot and removed from there. According to him, legal action is being ensured by investigating this matter.

Gunawat said that peace system is maintained on the spot and departmental action is being taken against the policemen who are negligent in this case. He informed that strict action will be ensured against the youth who disturbed peace.
