SSC Stenographer Skill Test Exam City Out

SSC Stenographer Grade C and D Skill Test Exam City: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the exam city slip for Stenographer Grade C and Grade D Skill Test 2024. SSC stenographer Skill Test Exam City Details Candidates can download the official website of the Commission ssc.gov.in. For SSC Stenographer Skill Test, exam city slip candidates can download on the website through their login credentials. The Commission informed in the official notification that the admit card for SSC Stenographer Grade C and Grade D Exam 2025 will be released two days before the examination i.e. 14 April 2025, as the exam is to be held on 16 and 17 April.

According to SSC official notification, “Scribb entry pass for the entry certificate and self -scribe will be available for potentially two days before the date of the exam.
Candidates are advised to download an additional copy of their admit card and keep them with them, because their original copy will be submitted by the Commission during the examination.

Last date of registration for Scribe

Candidates who have opted for their own scribe will have to submit registration and details of their scribe on the Commission’s website by 11:59 pm on 1 April 2025. The SSC said that the candidates may face problems if the information related to the scribe is not submitted on time. The Commission has advised the candidates to look at the examination notice issued on 24 June 2024 for any explanation related to their admit card. In case of any problem, candidates can resort to the helpline or support section available on the official website of SSC.

SSC stenographer exam date and pattern

Skill test of Stenographer Grade C and D exam 2024 will be held on 16 and 17 April 2025. This test is for those candidates who have been successful in computer based examination (CBE). In the skill test, candidates will be given dictation in English or Hindi (as per the option selected in the online application) for 10 minutes. Candidates applying for Grade C post will have to give dictation test at speed of 100 words per minute (WPM). At the same time, candidates applying for Grade D post will have to give dictation test at speed of 80 words (WPM). The SSC also clarified that the candidates who have opted to give a stenography test in Hindi, will have to learn English stenography after appointment and the English people are Hindi. Failure to do so will not be accepted by the probation period of the candidate by the concerned departments.
