AIMIM candidate for campaigning in Delhi Assembly Election and accused in Delhi riots, Tahir Hussain has got a big relief from the Supreme Court. Tahir Hussain has received parole custody for election campaign. The interim bail plea was heard in the bench of three judges of the Supreme Court. The bench of Justice Vikram Nath, Justice Sanjay Karol and Justice Sandeep Mehta is hearing the case. Recently, the bench of two judges hearing the case- Justice Pankaj Mittal and Justice Ahsanuddin Amanullah gave different opinions. Because of which this case was sent to the bench of three judges.

Demand for custody parole

On behalf of Tahir, Senior Advocate Siddharth Aggarwal said that I had sought interim bail for campaigning. Today, there is something strange in this. Even if I get interim bail today, I will have only 4-5 days. That is why I am saying today that I can get me in custody so that I can connect with voters. The place where my house is my house, there were reportedly Delhi riots there. It is alleged that I am fighting for Mustafabad. Even to live, I am saying that I will not go home. Will stay in the hotel and give details. Tahir Hussain said that campaigning should be allowed till elections. 4-5 days custody should be given. The Supreme Court asked that even if you are given interim bail by February 9, how will you come out in the rest of the cases?

Delhi Police opposed Tahir’s application

Delhi Police opposed Tahir’s application and said that even after giving interim bail, he will not come out. Delhi Police protested against being given interim bail, saying 56 people, including an IB officer, died during the riots. Delhi Police said that the police of custody would be needed, their house has been the center of riots. Bombs were run from his house. The Supreme Court asked the Delhi Police that it is not that they are contesting the election suddenly. They have been in public service for a long time.

The Supreme Court asked the Delhi Police how many policemen would be needed if Tahir is given custody parole. How much will it cost. On which Delhi Police has sought time till two o’clock. The Supreme Court asked Tahir’s lawyer to file a note that he now wants what he wants. At the same time, the Supreme Court said that if you give custody parol, then Tahir will bear the expenses. Now the matter will be heard at 2 pm on Tuesday.
