After US President Donald Trump, now China has also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi. China appreciated PM Modi’s positive comment on India-China relations. PM Modi has preferred dialogue instead of differences. China’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Mao Ning answered a question asked on Prime Minister Modi’s comments in a conversation with American Podcaster Lex Freedman at a press conference. He said that China has noticed and appreciates Prime Minister Modi’s recent positive comments on China-India relations. Earlier, US President Donald Trump shared PM Modi’s podcast interview on social media, although he has not made any comment on it.
Mao said that the successful meeting between Prime Minister Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping at Kazan, Russia in October provided strategic guidance for the improvement and development of bilateral relations. He said that both sides have seriously implemented important general consent, have strengthened the exchange and achieved positive results.
What China has said on PM Modi’s statement
He said, “I want to emphasize that in the history of mutual relations for more than 2000 years, both countries have maintained friendly exchange. The two countries have learned from each other, contributing to civilized achievements and human progress. ”He said that as the two biggest developing countries, China and India have shared the task of accelerating their development and revival and understand and support each other’s successes.

He said that it fulfills the fundamental interests of more than 2.8 billion people, fulfills the shared aspirations of the regional countries and follows the historical tendency to strengthen the global South and to be favorable for world peace. Reiterating the statement of China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi, he said that the two countries should become partners who contribute to each other’s success and keeping the synergy of elephants (India) and Dragon (China) and walking together is the only right for the relationship between the two countries.
Priority to dialogue instead of differences
He said that China is ready to work closely with India to implement important consensus between the two leaders. He said that China would take the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations as an opportunity and would carry bilateral relations forward on the path of stable and strong development.
The spokesperson said that China said that the elephant and dragon walking together is the only correct option for the relationship between the two countries.
PM Modi said in his podcast that the general position has returned to the Indo-China border after his recent conversation with President Xi to reduce the tension arising out of the clashes between the forces of the two countries in Eastern Ladakh. Adopting an optimistic stance towards relations between two most populous countries in the world, Modi said that differences between neighbors are natural. He emphasized ancient cultural relations between them, when both civilizations learned from each other and there was very little struggle between them.

He said that the purpose of his efforts is to ensure that their differences do not change in controversy and prioritize dialogue rather than differences. He said that both countries had once contributed more than 50 percent to the global GDP. He said, “Our cooperation is not only beneficial (mutually), but is also necessary for global peace and prosperity.”

On this, Modi said, Trump and I have an unwavering relationship of faith. Even if we do not meet face to face, we have direct and indirect connection.

Two rival powers of the world like America and China are giving positive response to their words.
