Ukraine’s large drone attack on Mosco, building fire; Airport closed


Ukraine has taken a big drone attack on Russia’s capital Mosko. Russia has claimed that Moscow has been attacked by Ukraine. According to a report by Reuters, Russian officials and media reported that Ukraine targeted the Russian capital on Wednesday morning, which was the biggest drone attack ever. Due to which two airports serving the city also had to be closed.

Damage to houses in attack

The fire broke out after the drone attack and the houses were damaged. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobanin said that at least 60 drones were destroyed while moving towards the city. Sobyanin said in a post on the Telegram messaging app, “Currently, the roof of a building in Moscow has been damaged a bit damaged by a fallen UAV debris.” In an earlier post, he said that according to initial reports, there were no casualties.

Moscow and its surroundings with a population of at least 21 million are one of the largest metropolitan areas of Europe with Istanbul. Near Russia’s security services, a news telegram channel, Baja and other Russian news telegram channels posted many residential fire videos around Moscow. In a video, Baja showed that an apartment caught fire in a multi-storey residential building in Ramneskoy district of Moscow region, about 50 km south-east from Kremlin.
