There is good news for car drivers on the major expressway of Uttar Pradesh. The maximum speed limit of cars on Purvanchal Expressway, Bundelkhand Expressway and Lucknow Expressway has been increased to 120 km per hour. Earlier this limit was 100 kilometers per hour. Under this new rule, this speed has been set for cars with maximum 8 passengers including the driver.

People will reach the destination in a short time

However, the speed limit for mini bus, goods carrying vehicles and motorcycles has been kept at 100 km per hour. This decision was taken after the board meeting of Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority. After this meeting, Chief Secretary Manoj Singh announced this. With this change, passengers will be able to reach their destination in a short time. Also, this step has been taken to further improve the traffic on the expressway.

Which vehicles will fill in how much speed

In addition to the driver’s seat, the speed limit of passenger trains with a maximum of 8 seats was 100 km/h. At the same time, now it has been increased to maximum speed to 120 km/h. In addition to such driver seat, the range of passenger trains with nine or more seats will now be 100 km/h. Earlier it was fixed 80 km/h. The maximum speed for mini bus, goods carrying vehicles and motorcycles has now been reduced to 100 km per hour.
