Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath attended the niece’s wedding in his native village Panchur located in Pauri district of Uttarakhand on Friday. However, the media was kept away from the wedding ceremony in Yogi’s presence.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Education Minister Dhan Singh Rawat also attended the function and blessed the bride and groom. During this, he also met Yogi Adityanath.
After staying for about an hour at the ceremony, Dhami and Rawat returned to Dehradun by air. Yogi reached Panchur on a three -day visit and on Saturday he will also go to the Government Primary School in nearby Thangar.
Yogi had studied from this school. This is his first visit after becoming the Chief Minister. However, earlier, when he was an MP from Gorakhpur, he also came here.
School teachers who were preparing for the program said that Yogi Adityanath will talk to the children here and after that he will also go to ‘Government Junior High School’ in Kandi and will also talk to the children there. Kandi village is the village of Guru Avaidyanath of Yogi Adityanath.
There is an atmosphere of enthusiasm in the surrounding areas including Panchur, Thangar for the arrival of the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. This tour of Yogi is being linked to his childhood memories.
Principal of primary school Satyendra Shah told the ‘PTI-video’ service that the school has been well decorated with the arrival of Yogi Adityanath and the students of the school are also excited to welcome their alumni. Senior teacher of the school Rajni Bahuguna said that Yogi Adityanath’s name is recorded as Ajay Mohan Bisht in the old documents of the school.
He told that in the year 1972, Yogi Adityanath was admitted here. The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh reached Panchur on Thursday and he laid flowers at the statue of Brahmin Sant Mahant Avaidyanath at Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath Government College, Vithyani.
After that he inaugurated the 100 feet high tricolor and a two -day farmer fair in the park in memory of his father late Anand Singh Bisht. Adityanath worshiped at the Siddhapeeth Mahadev Temple and he also released the magazine of Gauraksha of the college. Officials said that Chief Minister Yogi will return to Lucknow on Saturday.
