Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta will present the budget in the assembly this month. CM Rekha Gupta has also sought suggestions from intellectuals regarding this. CM Rekha Gupta has announced this at the press conference. Rekha Gupta said that this is a developed Delhi budget and suggestions from each section of the public will be included in it.
He said, “This resolution letter includes financial assistance to women in the field of focus, expansion of healthcare, reducing public transport, jobs, better arrangements for education, cheap and nutritious food to garaibas, welfare of senior citizens, cleaning of Yamuna, continuing welfare schemes, etc.”.
In this direction, it is our responsibility to take cognizance of the priorities of the people of Delhi and to prepare the budget outline based on it. Instructions have been given to the officers of all departments that suggestions of all stakeholders should be taken to increase the participation of the people of Delhi.
The Chief Minister said, “Our goal is to ensure that this budget of Delhi is the budget of the public. The government has taken special steps to promote public participation. Apart from this, the Delhi government has held a meeting to take suggestions from various groups. On March 5, women organizations will be interacted, while on March 5 evening, people associated with education sector have been invited. Youth, and unauthorized colony people can also give their suggestions.
The Chief Minister also informed that all cabinet members and MLAs will go among the public and listen to their suggestions. During this process, the aim of the government is that the budget of Delhi should be fully ready keeping in mind the interests of the public. The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Delhi will step into a new era of development and this time Delhiites will see the real form of their development works.

An email ID has also been created to get suggestions for developed Delhi budget. Email ID is – viksitdelhibudget -25@delhi.gov.in. Along with this, a WhatsApp number – 9999962025 has also been released. In this, any person from Delhi can give his suggestions in writing. He also informed that this budget will be presented from 24 to 26 March.
