During the discussion with ESPN Cricinfo, Manjrekar said, ‘The most special thing in today’s innings was how easily Gill completed a century. I have seen Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli doing so. You keep watching and seem to be playing at 60 or 70, but when the eyes rise up, the century is complete. This is the identity of a great player in the 50 -over format.
He further said, ‘This tournament will probably prove to be a platform, where Shubman Gill can prove himself different from the rest of the players.
