Whom to believe? The police station chief himself looted Rs 32 lakh from a businessman, arrested

This question is being asked because in Chhapra, Bihar, a police station head along with another person committed a robbery of Rs 32 lakh.

According to the information, Rohan Kumar, resident of Rauja village of Nagar police station area, along with his driver was going to Muzaffarpur in connection with business after selling the land and taking Rs 64 lakh. On the way, Maker Police Station Head Ravi Ranjan Kumar and his driver Anil Kumar stopped the vehicle in the name of investigation and looted Rs 32 lakh. The accused threatened the businessman with weapons. After this, he also threatened to implicate him in the case by keeping liquor and weapons in the car. There was also a beating.

After the incident, the businessman complained to Saran SP Ashish Kumar. The SP took immediate action in the matter. He said that after receiving information about the incident, an investigation team was formed under the leadership of SDPO Marhaura Naresh Paswan.

He told that the photographs of the victims were shown to all the people of Maker police station and they were identified. The victims recognized the Maker police station incharge and his driver. After this, both of them were immediately searched and the Maker police station incharge was taken into custody and interrogated and the entire incident came to light.

An amount of Rs 32 lakh recovered

Accused police station incharge Ravi Ranjan Kumar was arrested and sent to jail. Also, both the accused were suspended with immediate effect.

In this case, the police have recovered an amount of Rs 32 lakh from the room of driver Anil Kumar. At present, driver Anil Kumar is said to be absconding.
