Gavaskar Verdict on Harshit Rana Controversy: India’s legendary batsman Sunil Gavaskar said that it was not right to take Harshit Rana as a substitute due to the fourth T20 match (Ind vs Eng T20I) instead of Shivam Dubey. This reduced the attraction of India’s victory. Shivam Dube was a ball on his head during batting in the last over and he was removed. His place Harshit Rana, who is a fast bowler, was included in the team. Rana performed brilliantly with 3 wickets in his debut match. With this, India won by 152 runs and won the series by 15 runs, but England captain Jose Butler objected to this change. Gavaskar is also not very affected by this.
“It was wrong to give a substitute”
