A big fraud has emerged in Agra Health Department. Under the National Health Mission, a shocking case of fraud in Janani Suraksha Yojana and women sterilization incentive has come to light. A woman was delivered 25 times and sterilization 5 times.
Under the National Health Mission, Rs 1400 is given to the maternity of rural areas and Rs 1000 in the urban area by the government. In the same way, two thousand rupees are available for women sterilization and this amount goes directly to the woman’s bank account. Shocking fraud has emerged during the financial audit of Fatehabad Community Health Center in Agra. In the financial audit, it was revealed that a woman was delivered 25 times and a sterilization was made 5 times and the woman was paid 45000 thousand rupees, in which the community health center is expected to connives the collusion of doctors, nurses and employees.
After the fraud in the audit came to light, now the officials are talking about the investigation. Payment of Rs 38.95 lakh was found suspicious at Community Health Center, Lady Lion Women’s Hospital and SS Medical College in Agra, which has been ordered to investigate. The role of Superintendent of Fatehabad Community Health Center in Agra will also be investigated. Agra CMO Arun Srivastava has formed a team for a detailed investigation into the matter. The CMO himself is looking at the whole investigation about the things that came out in the audit.
On this whole matter, CMO Agra Arun Srivastava said that a team has been formed to investigate what has come out in the audit, whether it is technical error or it has been deliberately done.
